Zombie Stomp Lyrics
I don't need a doctor
But I need something to kill the pain
Don't know what I'm after
But the pressure's driving me insane
Searching for a different role
Had a funny feeling I can't hide
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Why can't they just let me be
Alone without the misery
Hey, hey, do the Zombie, Zombie Stomp
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Flirting with disaster
Morning after killing me again
Hiding from the laughter
And the demons dancing round my brain
Always dancing on thin ice
I guess I'll have to pay the price
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Thinkin' how it could have been
If I had never let them in
Hey, hey, do the Zombie, Zombie Stomp
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Take me to the doctor
'Cause I feel it coming on again
Don't know where I'm going
'Cause I guess I don't know where I've been
Looking for a different ride
Always dancing on thin ice
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Thinking how it could have been
If I had never let them in
Hey, hey, do the Zombie, Zombie Stomp
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
Hey, hey, do the Zombie Stomp
But I need something to kill the pain
Don't know what I'm after
But the pressure's driving me insane
Had a funny feeling I can't hide

Alone without the misery

who cares what its about, this song is an awesome rock'n'roll party headbanger!!!!!
Actually this song was written after Ozzie had the misfortune to catch himself ploding about on the tele doing a concert, Plod Plod Plod "sing lyrics" Plod Plod Plod "sing lyrics. Yhea that will do. But he plods.
always dancing on thin ice.... cocaine man
i wish other people would comment, cause brothergrim confused me, and i dont think this song is about cocaine, but i may be wrong.
well i dont think its about cocaine prolly more about drinking than anything.... there is one version when rob zombie sings with ozzy so maybe it has to do with rob zombie. love them both..... great song love to headbang to it its AWESOME
Dancing on thin ice is a faily standard euphemism to doing somehing risky.
I always thought it was a song about being hungover... I've got a friend who shambles like a zombie when drunk or hungover.... Need footage for blackmail potential....
I, too, think this is an anti-alcoholism song. The "Zombie Stomp" being how people walk after drinking too much. I like how Ozzy jokingly makes the song sound like a late-80s/early-90s dance tune.
This song is not about Coke!!!! read the lyrics people it's all there! Music is his DRUG!
i think its about drinking "Morning after killing me again" hangover "Always dancing on thin ice I guess I'll have to pay the price" drinking is dangerous. makes you do things youll regret later....etc
i personally think it is about the negatives that come with use of a substance. Referring to the day after and looking for a different ride(not role?) "got a funny feeling i cant get high (not hide?) maybe referring to resistance that builds with substance abuse....anyway i dont think its a reference to a specific drug, especially cocaine, besides ice usually refers to methamphetamine....black sabbath already did a song about cocaine its named snowblind
