It was inspired by one of Ozzy's old personal catchphrases, but the song itself is supposed tell the story of a werewolf. That's one thing I like about Ozzy, his songs are very literal without being simplistic.

Jake E Lee is on guitar and Bob Daisly is on the bass. This song is great and i agree with apollyoncrash his songs are very literal and they all have a story to tell that is a milestone in ozzy's life.

Bark At The Moon got the best starting riff heavy metal music has ever heard. Then it continues with Ozzys chaotic and disturbing voice, then Jakes guitar escorts the song to the end. It has the most soul stirring ending guitar solo ever made, best done by Zakk Wylde.
