Great song. Adam Duritz is the best song writer ever. The first time I listened to this song, I put it on repeat and listened to it like 10 times. It's like song was written for me man. I always find myself getting hurt by females and then totally tearing myself up over it; sitting alone on my balchony thinking. Then, I go and do it all over again, just a sucker for love I guess.

As for the meaning of this song... It makes me think of a line from another song, "Love is not a victory marchj; it's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah."

This song amazes me... and similar to Frkboy33... i definitly listen to it on repeat!! its clearly about his staying up all night, etc, but i think he brilliantly put it into words. also, while he may be up all these nights thinking about he can "never get enough of love", i also think he is probably thinking about his inability To love someone else.. which is why he continually is up all night just thinking and detaching himself from the rest of the world. he can never get it, and he can never give it. the "shuttle from station to station line" and the "dont mind the days gone rolling away" lines contribute to the idea that his life is just passing him by, and will continue to until he is able to love, give and receive it. ohh counting crows is AMAZING!!!
