This song means a lot coz it's off the Smallville soundtrack and it played in my fav episode, Crush. I'm aware that this song's a cover, but just listening to the accoustic guitare is great. The lyrics are.. wow. It's really about missing someone, waiting for someone.. "After your picture fades and drakness has turned to gray" It's a great nostalgic song that is on repeat right before I fall asleep!

This is probably the best version of this song that I've ever heard. I used to think Everything But The Girl's was great until I heard this a couple of years ago. Her voice is so sweet and beautiful. The guitar sounds very much like the work of Johnny Marr which also adds to the song. Just simple and amazing. Simply amazing I guess :]

Indeed the most beautiful version of this song ever recorded; Eva's voice is so perfect. A welcome change/extreme improvement from the way cyndi recorded it. I agree with ladypeace, definitely on repeat before going to sleep!
this is my favourite song of all time!!!! the lyrics are just amazing!!! i cant decide which version i like best!!! eva's is beutiful coz her voice is so pure. but Good Charlotte covered it also...sounds great when i is rocked up. and also Matchbox 20 sang it on tour and its also very good.

This version is so beautiful. Eva's voice is perfect. I saw it in Smallville and it was used when Whitney's dad died at the funeral. I think it's about losing someone and you miss them so badly but you know that they are always going to be there watching over you..
so want this played at my funeral. can be morbid or a song of hope, depending on how you feel when you listen to it and how you chose to view it. love every version of this but Eva's is the best. huge fan of her work. her voice is just the best!!
i would dedicate this song to anyone i love and who means alot to me. just to let them know that no matter what, if they are happy or sad, up or down, i will be waiting, always ready to be there for them...time after time.
