This song is one of the many dramatic "conclusions" to Craig Finn's never ending night life adventures. He goes into the restaraunt wearing a wire to help catch his dealer "Juanita". This was after of course the police tortured him into leaking info about their drug peddling. This is one of the most central-story based songs. I think I might write some notes for all of these songs because its all connected with scenes and reaccuring characters...genius..... and no one cares
I think that the "night club fire" has something to do with the Nice Nice burning down at the end of Fiestas & Fiascoes. Also, I will agree that this shit is genius and that not nearly enough people are absolutely in love with this band.
