im not quite sure, but i think this may have been about contemplating suicide. it was performed in new york 09/28/91 (thnx 4xeno) which was just b4 nirvana got big. he was really depressed then, and drugs were really screwin him up. gettin big pulled him outta that vicious circle, for a little while. Talk to me - did Bleach really get much publicity? I wasn't around at the time, I was born in the year it was released, but I didn't think Sub-Pop had nearly enough money to promote Nirvana as a big act.
I thought that i heard something about paparazzi in the song.
it might be about him contemplating suicide. or maybe hes too scared to commit suicide and is waiting for a natural death. maybe.
