morning comes and morning goes
now it's me against the sun
the day goes by and darkness grows
and it's over before it's done
well i know it'll be alright if i just get on the road
if i run i can free my worried mind
yeah i know on the day i die i will lose my heavy load
but i wouldn't want to leave you behind
all my time keeps creeping on
now i've grown into a man
but mr child still wants to run
from the cradle to the van
keep thinking it'll be alright if i just get on the road
if i run i can free my worried mind
keep thinking of the day i die when i lose my heavy load
but i wouldn't want to leave you behind
now it's me against the sun
the day goes by and darkness grows
and it's over before it's done
if i run i can free my worried mind
yeah i know on the day i die i will lose my heavy load
but i wouldn't want to leave you behind
now i've grown into a man
but mr child still wants to run
from the cradle to the van
if i run i can free my worried mind
keep thinking of the day i die when i lose my heavy load
but i wouldn't want to leave you behind

How could no one have heard this song before? This was the song that made them famous, back in 1996. During that time, I went to PSU at the time and they'd play this song over and over on the most popular station at the time, 99.1 (which I think was called "Quck Rock"). I definately like this song much better than "Closing Time".
i concur 1977. maybe just let the few people who've heard (and remember) it enjoy the song and let the rest of the world listen to pre-programmed crap on the top 40 stations
