I hate when people assume Muse songs are about relationships. Yes, they do right about Love but much of their stuff is actually about the world and badly we treat each other and just stuff like that. Very political. Very convicting in a way.
Next time you listen to Muse, analyze it. Think about the lyrics and how they wouldn't apply to a relationship. Inductive logic shows that most songs are about relationships but Muse is definitely an exception.

i think its about 2 things, either breaking up or someone with a "holier than thou" attitude
the meaning is pretty self explanatory, a guy finishing a relationship cos hes sick of the arguements but this song is so great cos its incredibly dark and moody.Muse really do seem to restore my hope in music. they rock

i also think that maybe this song is about him wanting to be with a girl but she never lets him and then she finds another man who he feels is inadequete for her :( just an idea
i havent heard this song because u live in a culturally isolated, deserted, black hole country (australia) and the single isn't coming out until next year. its heartbreaking because muse is my all time favourite band and i long to hear this song!!!

Get an mp3. It's off Radio 1 from here in UK, but you can take off those voices I suppose. The video rules too... both of them =D
i hated this song when i first heard it, and thought it was possibly their worst song, compared to 'in your world' ....but by listening to the lyrics and how it relates to the music do now believe that it is a great song! i love every muse song
