Green Bird Lyrics

Spring has come
Bugs stick their faces out of the ground
Birds are eating them

Spring has come
Children go to school
Stray dogs are bearing many puppies

Spring has come
Women face mirrors
Custard pie bakes

Spring has come
Bugs stick their faces out of the ground
Birds are eating them

Spring has come
Children go to school
Stray dogs are bearing many puppies

Spring has come
Women face mirrors
Custard pie bakes

Spring has come
Bugs stick their faces out of the ground
Birds are eating them

Spring has come
Children go to school
Stray dogs are bearing many puppies

Spring has come
Women face mirrors
Custard pie bakes

This song fits so perfectly in the scene in episode 5 where Spike is falling to the ground. Great song, great episode, and hilarious ending to the episode.

This does not at all sound like what the song sounds like. Does anyone else notice that? Is this a translation?

i thought this song was sung in the "Yoko Kanno language". And I didn't think anyone knew it. i've searched for months for a way to transltae her language. How did they get a translation? I still want to know what they are saying at the beginning of "Blue"

Yoko Kanno language? o.O

All i know is i cant listen to this song anymore cos all I can hear is my friend singing "Merry Moo Cow. Merry Moooo Cow. Merry Merry Moo" to the tune.

I'm pretty sure it's a made up language, and this is just a made up translation.

Such a cute, pretty song. It fits so well with the Spike falling/ memories of Julia scene. Such a great show.

well, like ZidaneTribal said, as well as clockworkfables, yoko kanno has her own little language that she uses in alot of her songs. As for what therumbucket said, i completely agree. that is possibly on of the greatest episodes of the shows that i watch. definately best of the series of course (not including the ending 2)

Great song. Its juxtaposition with what Spike has found himself in works really, really well.
