It's A Life Lyrics

It's a life, working lanes with his wife
Hand in hand, they both work at the alley with an arcade in the back
Where the young are the restless on the set
The cameras are hot, the tape hasn't stopped
Since the scene at the diner two on two
Lots of pink baby blue and a name sewn on to a la shirt
With a loop collar flat two on two
How they live, in a shack, it was shot in the back of the lot
Where the curtains were drawn and the wheels were all blocked
T.V.'s on, engine's off, waking up hand in hand
To the set at the alley
Lots of pink baby blue and a name sewn on to a la shirt
With a loop collar flat two on two

I agree. Is it an analogy of something? I don' t really understand it (but it has a really great beat)!

Interpreted in a literal sense, I believe that this song is about a couple living in a trailer park, either filming or acting in pornographic films; hence "Where the young are the restless on the set", and since the scene at the diner two on two". These lines seem like sexual innuendo. Also, sleazy sex movie biz people often live in trailers while they film a movie, and there is a stereotype that they also get themselves wrapped up in some tight situations (e.g. drugs, prostitution), hence "shot in the back of the lot".
