the part about "they know it's almost over" is probably referring to fallen angels. S is about to hit the fan and you should leave the city, it's gonna get crazy. |

| Līve – Voodoo Lady Lyrics

when I was manic I thought this song was about Jesus and Mary Magdelene (the hooker in the Bible.) The verses are about Mary talking to Jesus and the chorus is Jesus thinking to himself. "We" have to show "me" how. We = the Trinity? Me = Jesus?
It makes the song pretty cool if you consider this theory. |

| Līve – Like I Do Lyrics

I don't think this is about God in the way the above person mentioned. I think it's about love with another person, in this case, a man's love for a woman. EK feels like a god in relation to his wife. Alot of Christians think we will have a similar relationship to God when we get to heaven. And that what we experience with women is just a showcase for what we will experience in heaven. |

the only thing in common was
we knew there was somethin' more
I love that line, it sums up the mood of the song for me lyrically.
(Weird, when I tried to type the lyrics I did a typo with the caps on and it came out "tHE ONE") |

I disagree. The main point of this song is far from his own cigarette addiction, if he even has one. It's about doing his own thing as far as "making a living." He's not going after a corporate career to make the big bucks. He ignores all the pressure to conform and find a real job. I thought the line, "Have another cigarette" was a comment to his friends who have the "good life" but can't handle all the stress involved unless they are smoking all the time..... |

| Splender – Save It For Later Lyrics

I think the main message is fairly obvious. It's talking bad about materialism and building up a vast range of trinkets and possessions and it's promoting a life of simplicity without worrying about making "a living" or having a career just so you can keep up with the Joneses or please your family or do what you're "supposed" to be doing in life. |
