Coheed and Cambria – In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 Lyrics
| 18 years ago

s0f, thanks a lot for your interpretations, they're VERY helpful and I'm sure I speak for all of us. I was just wondering are these your own interpretations or (in the ricsk of offending) from a fansite? If they are, could I have a link?
Also, I wondered if you had interps for Second Stage Turbine Blade and if you do and don't wish to post them, would you get in contact?
Cheers. |

1208 – Jimmy Lyrics

It's about a kid growing up who has it hard and he's going nowhere. It's written as if it's someone the band knew and are now asking him how he's doing. I think anyway. Good song. |

Bad Religion – Sorrow Lyrics

Abirdnamedsloth is dead right, I read that exact same article and that's exactly what they said. To all those gays saying that if they're played on the radio they'll sell out. Grow.Up. Who cares? Does that make you less hardcore does it. I think you'll find that makes you the sell out dropping your band because they found fame. Listen to Five Iron Frenzy - Handbook For The Sellout and you'll see yourself described. |

Damn right Lucif3r, I think you've hit the nail on the head there, pretty straight forward song, and definitely what Lucif3r said is right. |

Bad Religion – I Want to Conquer the World Lyrics

Yeah this song is meant to be taken with a pinch of salt. But a lot of the things in it are true, talking about the people supposedly above us and what they really are doing in the long run. Great song. |

Bad Religion – Broken Lyrics

|
It's just not right to diss Bad Religion whatever they do because they've done so much for the scene, hell they are the scene.
I believe the song's about someone who was put down all through his life or something along those lines, I'm tired...let it go. |

Bad Religion – Atomic Garden Lyrics
|
I think it's about someone who is really bothered about something like the threat of war. Yet even though he's so bothered he doesn't od anything about it, he just gets people to reassure him about things and watches from his window.
I.e: I hope there's nothing wrong out there
I'm watching from my room inside my room
That's my take, ace song though. |

Anti-Flag – Punk By The Book Lyrics
|
I dress in smart casual clothes and jeans, yet because I don't dress punk everyone automactically assumes I listen to rap or whatever, which I do. But I'm more into the punk scene, and I like Dead Kennedys and Bad Religion and all those types of groups just as much as the person standing next to me looking like a royal twat with seven thousand piercings. I like the music, yet I care about how I look. I don't care what other people think, but I like to dress the way I do and if people are more comfortable dressing in what looks like a glammed up Barbie with piercings then they can, I think it's gay, but I won't judge people on it. That's their decision, rock on!
Onto the actual song I love the little bass break down in the middle, shivers up spine! I like the song, it's a good one. |

Backstreet Boys – More Than That Lyrics

Nice wors, but a pretty average song overall, don't know why I've got it on my computer, but I haven't got rid of it yet, so it says something about the song. |

B*witched – Castles In The Air Lyrics

Pretty shite song overall. I've only got it on my computer because it was on at a memorable moment in my life. Nothing major, it just happened to be playing in one of those perfect settings. |

Avril Lavigne – Losing Grip Lyrics

She's outdone herself with this song, best song on the album no contest, and I've only heard two songs, you just can't get better than this. Amazing song. |

Avril Lavigne – Complicated Lyrics
|
I can't be bothered to read all the replies on here. I know a few things though that from reading a few of the comments, that you need to realise.
Avril Lavigne is talented. She writes good music, I don't care whether it's punk rap or rock. Whatever, she writes good music that's what matters to me. I usually listen to punkier heavier stuff. Ok so she's not punk at all when she claims to be, but she's a better role model for kids than Britney Spears is. If you like her music then who cares what she does or looks like? Broaden your horizons, open your eyes. You can like whatever you like, don't be tied down to one genre.
Good song anyway. *Rant over* |

My favourite song by Autonomy. I think it's a song about being confused about what you feel and what you want in life. |

Autonomy – But I Thought Lyrics

|
No idea what it's about, but it's an amazing song.
Everyone should check them out, they're classed as nu-metal I guess but they're a little harder and have a lot more influences, kinda like LostProphets I guess you could call them. |

Audiovent – The Energy Lyrics

I know they don't want this comparison, but in the chorus he really does sound like Brandon, it's uncanny.
Anyway, it's an ok song, nothing outstanding, won't live in my head forever, but damn good song. |

Definitely agree with festijunk, nothing wrong with a little pop now and then and Atomic Kitten are the best to turn to for that! |

At the Gates – Slaughter Of The Soul Lyrics

Never really understand heavy metal lyrics, it's all kill this, eat this, sacrifice that. Bloody good though. At The Gates are one of my favourite heavy music bands. This is one of my favourite songs of theirs. |

At the Drive-In – One Armed Scissor Lyrics
| 20 years ago
|
Everyone's opinions seem right, I reckon there's no right or wrong meaning. I believe whoever wrote the song I don't know who writes At The Drive In's lyrics but whoever did wove so many things into it. Or maybe just one or two things. It's an awesome song no doubt about that though. |

At the Drive-In – Invalid Litter Dept. Lyrics

I never knew what the song was about, now obviously I do. I really like At The Drive-In, I didn't like all their songs but I appreciated their music and the way they were trying something new. I like a few of their songs though, this being one of them. It's an incredible song, made even better because of what it's about and the way they address the problem and bring it to people's attention. |

Anti-Flag – Die For The Government Lyrics

Whatever.
I like Anti-Flag, they have good views, these views they possess are not forced on anyone. Their views are their own opinions and you can listen to them or you cannot. It's your choice. If you don't like it, fuck off.
Anyway, the song is a damn awesome one, amazing when there's loadsa people around dancing their ass off to it! |

Anti-Flag – Davey Destroyed The Punk Scene Lyrics

To be honest, I don't like this song as much as other Anti-Flag songs. I know what they're talking about the message is clear, it's a good song but they've done far far better material. |

Angela Ammons – Big Girl Lyrics

The lyrics are kinda cheesy and put me off, but she's got a good voice and the actual song is good, if the lyrics were a little less angsty and whiny then it'd be a bloody good song. |

Astoria – Say Anything New Lyrics
|
Definitely their best song yet. Not sure whats it's about. I think it might be about a couple falling in love yet they don't know quite how to go about it or what to do in the relationship, and they don't know what to say to each other. Hence the
"Say an, say anything, anything new"
line. |

Anti-Flag – Drink Drank Punk Lyrics
|
Jesus, calm down, this song is done in a light hearted way. Just because Anti-Flag are straight edge doesn't mean they hate people who drink. Yes in a way the song is ridiculing people who drink excessively to be cool, yet at the same time it's just a comedy song and is all in good taste. As for me I hardly ever drink, I've been drunk once in the last year and that was just with two mates while playing computer so? |

Anti-Flag – Captain Anarchy Lyrics

It's not about anarchy at all, it's just about someone getting into the punk scene because he thinks he looks good and goes by all the old clichèd punk stereotypes. I agree with Demonica, Antiworkshop and Omnivore. |

Anti-Flag – Anatomy Of Your Enemy Lyrics

Anti-Flag – A New Kind Of Army Lyrics

The message of this song is so right, but I doubt it would ever happen because of the way some people are. When you listen to Anti-Flag and then hear some shit on the radio about getting dirty with Christina Aguilera and Redman, you really wonder what's happened to the world. |
