I dont really like this song, I never did, it sounds WAY too much like Skinny Puppy's Dig It. Im surprised they havent sued Trent. Dig it was a good song, but this is too tinny, even for an industrial song. |

This song is good, but then science is a religion, I mean look at this way, people have so many versions of "god" and theres so many views of "science" its like a God vs God and Science vs Science aswell. Theres people with "scientific" proof that E tablets dont really harm us, AIDS dont exsist and the world is really flat. And theres this you need to get your head around:
All sciences, wheter that be physics, biology or chemistry, they are connected to one scientific "fact": All things living are made of carbon. Now if this was proven untrue, the whole science world is thrown out of the window! There is no proof whether this is true or not by means of sceince or otherwise! What do scienctists have? Faith, faith in the belife that we are carbon based, same with all religions.
System of a down came from a religious background and they are pruod of it, there is no truth in anything, as my old friend Neitzche would say, So belive in anything you want, magic beans, science, religious doctrine whatever, in the end of the day, no one fully knows. Just dont enforce it on others like the taliban, al queda, crusade and the nazis has before. |

God hates us all, hes there but he .........(wispers) he isnt too fond of us. Im a big fan of nihilism myslef, althought what a nihilistic society looks like...... worse then hitlers! But you dont need to be an atheist to be an nihilist, its far more to that then going around being an anarchic/atheist, a lot deeper. I like the lyrics too, but the marching band music slaps a big ol smile on me face! |

The lyrics don't seem to fit in with the song, its about a king who lost his empire, and hes just walking around moping, the band play extremly fast as if they are emulating the sounds of a battle. Still my fave emperor song though. |

I think this song was written about Tori Amos getting raped by a fan of hers. Well it is about rape and a gun, it reminds me of the story of her getting raped. Its got a good tune this song, I dont think in anyways this song is politcal, the Nine Inch Nails was the least politcal band I ever known. |
