Wow. They should really change the site's name to "My comments are going to be just rewriting the lyrics." I believe this song is about the beginnings of an addiction recovery. The clicks in the head (to me) refers to the addiction. I want the clicks in my head to stay as a constant reminder that I have a problem and to never get complacent with it or it will overwhelm me. The woods and the in the dark he has no name (to me) woods = addiction, darkness = active addiction. |

The artist did an interview stating the song is his anger and disapproval of the desire for material possessions rotting our society. But what does the song mean to you. Whether you think the song is about material possessions or about moonshine... You're right. After all, doesn't moonshine "poison the well and ruin the mind"? |
