Because the singer is Chistian as far as I'm aware, he's obviously referring to God, but I relate to it anyway, but replace God with someone who could have helped but didn't. They had the power to help but they never did. He kept waiting for his call, letting him know that everything would be alright, but the call never came and everything was not alright. I think the "you found me" is almost a humourless sarcasm. Kind of like "You found me, what are you going to do now huh" Something that would be said with a meaningless laugh.
