David Bowie – Word on a Wing Lyrics 11 years ago
This song is very beautiful, and one of my favorite Bowie songs. It seems like a desperate prayer in song-form. DB seems to be emerging from spiritual confusion, but still has some doubts. There are some definite Christian references here, such as, "Lord," "born-again," and "strange land." The song can send chills up and down your spine - in a good way :)

David Bowie – The Man Who Sold the World Lyrics 11 years ago
This is a tough one, but I'm pretty certain that this song is about Judas. Judas betrayed Jesus for a few coins so, he is "the man who sold the world." Judas later hung himself, which would explain the lyric, "I thought you died alone, a long long time ago." It also seems that the narrator is stuck in some kind of Purgatory or Hell with Judas and others who "died alone," especially when you hear the wailing at the end of the song...

David Bowie – Try Some, Buy Some Lyrics 11 years ago
I think this song is about someone struggling with quitting drugs until they find God. God's love helps them to get off of drugs for good, and to live a better life. DB's version of this song is the best, and the most touching. Keep up the good work, DB!
