| Ben Cocks – So Cold Lyrics | 10 years ago |
| I think this is about a failed relationship. She found out her lover was cheating on her. When it comes down to it, her lover is not longer in love with her. This other person has moved on and they're leaving. At first, she doesn't believe it. She knows that her partner is gone but she doesn't believe it's for another person. So she calls them to check and make sure it's true. She finds out her partner isn't alone. Hearing this breaks her and she is saying her house no longer is her home, it no longer has the warmth and happiness it once had. And as she lays in bed, she wonders and wonders why it happened. Why her partner is in bed with someone else at that moment. She wants an explanation for why she's alone, why she's in bed, so cold from the lack of another body. | |
| Zara Larsson – Uncover Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| It's pretty obvious this is about some form of a relationship that is forbidden in some way. Maybe someone doesn't approve of it. Even though the relationship is not allowed, the people involved see each other in secret, hiding their feeling until they are only with each other. They are there own secret, hidden away from the world, hence the nobody sees, nobody knows. And when they are together, they "uncover" and show their true selves because they know the other accepts them and loves them just how they are. | |
| Maroon 5 – Daylight Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| When I fist heard the song, I thought it was about a relationship that was kept secret or had to end. When, 'Cause in the daylight, we'll be on our own,' I think it means that they have to go their own separate ways. '"Cause I know when I wake, I will have to slip away,' meaning that he or she has to leave. He says he's gonna hold her so close, I feel that it means he doesn't want to let her go, but knows he has to. He trying to make best of what he has. 'Cause in the daylight, I'm gonna have to go,' it basically explains it self, he has to leave when the sun comes out. He says he's afraid of the dark but it what he wants now. The one thing that threw me a bit off was the music video. I mean the music video was great but it's more about a change in the world, what people think of it. The song, in my opinion, didn't have much to do with it. Well, anyways, this was what I think the meaning of Daylight is. | |
| Bruno Mars – Talking to the Moon Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I think the song is talking about when you lose someone close to you and you miss them. You want to talk to them, see them, hug them, cherish them. When my dog died, I was devastated. But when I listened to this song, I understood it. I literally did talk to the moon. I would look up at the sky at night and talk as if my dog would hear me. I would hope he would and that he was talking to me too. Bruno Mars sings that is he just a fool who talks to the moon, it seems that he thinks it's a foolish thing to do but he can't help it . Whatever he lost, he wants it back. he can't like without it, so he talks to the moon, hoping whatever it is he lost can hear him, that it's talking back to him. It might sound insane to someone else but to him it makes perfect sense. This is just what I think so please no hate. | |
| Lil' Wayne – Mirror Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
I agree with the comments of how the songs is based on how Lil' Wayne sees himself. But when I first heard the song, I thought it was about a guy who admits he's gay or a girl admits she's lesbian because when Bruno Mars starts to sing, his part is, Mirror on the wall, here we are again Through my rise and fall You’ve been my only friend You told me that they can understand the man I am So why are we here talkin’ to each other again I think of when the girl or guy admits it to someone, they judge him. They treat him differently. Like they don't understand or care about what he feels... |
