It seems people always go full circle and return to bullshit assumptions that violence in videogames and music is to blame for mass murders. Completely oblivious to how many times it was debunked. It's a mind-blowing stretch to any rational individual, but, sadly, there's a multitude of irrational uptight fanatics easy to jump on the judgmental bandwagon, so Marilyn Manson got blamed for Columbine. The likes of Elliot Rodger. That has nothing to do with anything apart from parent involvement and adequate upbringing. Morons, who think their kids deserve a trophy for every fart - I'm looking at you! I dread the day when the scientific field will become so oversaturated with SJW bias, that they will come out with a "new study", "showing" music and videogames ARE the cause. Luckily, most of regressives can't be bothered with real education and just stick with Gender Studies. All in all, this is nothing more than a cool song to listen to while having kinky sex and it shouldn't be burdened with these kinds of debates. People relate to it not because they're all closeted psychopaths, but because BDSM had gone so mainstream in the last decades, hardly anyone is surprised it exists. |

There's not a whole lot of songs that align with MGTOW philosophy. But this is one of the few. I don't imply that it's about going your own way, but to those who know what I'm talking about it pretty much can be. This song gives out a strong feeling of disillusionment and the inner struggle of suppressing your own nature to search for female companionship, keeping your distance from the lies. And the verse "If anger’s a gift, then I guess I’ve been blessed" fits the "Red pill rage" description. It’s too late to love me now You helped me to show me When you find out the truth about female nature, it will never be the same. They say that you either can love a woman, or understand her. This is the latter. And women themselves had shown us what they are, with feminism and so-called "social justice". "Breaking a part of my heart to find release Taking you out of my blood to bring me peace" These words perfectly describe what it takes to fight the addiction. I wonder if I'm the only one who gets this strange end-time post-apocalyptic feeling while listening to this song... It sounds like a follow-up to the events of Year Zero (this connection gets even more evident in Satellite). The lyrics are quite out-of-this-world. So as the music in chorus. "We've done this all before, coming back for more" reminds me the famous law of history repeating itself. A continuous idea in the album btw. "It's gonna last forever baby we'll get to the other side And we will live forever baby and stretch across the sky I'll follow right behind you baby We're never gonna die" This whole piece is someone's promise of eternal life and freedom to his lover. You can't be more obvious. It sounds like "Don't be afraid baby, the night is almost over. And I will be by your side forever." This is being said in a very aware and confident manner. Like the words of a man who has already been to the other side, hence the calm voice. I know. Nobody believes that the world will end after what happened (or not happened) in Dec 2012, but you should all know - shit happens when you least expect it)) Btw, I'm not religious... |

This can be anything depending on how you look at it. For me this song speaks about an unrequited love. Many have been down that road. A person falls in love, but gets burnt, heartbroken, rejected, yada, yada. Your love is not enough, she want's someone better, she thinks she deserves a more handsome/smart/wealthy man. She may accept you, if you'll "change" for her. But that's a complete waste of energy. In the end something breaks inside and you fall into a deep and dark state of mind that lasts for years, while she moves on without any regret. Even though Nine Inch Nails got a new sound, they still hold a link to their past albums. This song reminds me of AATCHB and With Teeth. But this time it's about a reformed man, who overcame his burnout and reflects on his past, saying "If I could be what you wanted me to be, I would". THAT is called REAL. The rest is just a pathetic string of words. |

It appears that most of you people have too overly romantic views on how you make love to a girl. Not everyone is into rose petals, candles and feathers, you know... You're totally missing the point if you think this song is about rape or murder. The "hero" has a crush on a girl in shcool, but afraid of falling in love with her. Not because he has low self-esteem, but because he's not an ordinary guy. He has a dark mindset, but tries to act normal. He understands that there's a big chance the girl may become afraid of his true self, so he's being very cautious not to let himself slip. He accidentally tells about his feelings to her best friend. When she walks in, he gets very nervous and leaves. Whole weekend he's being tortured by his obsession with her. In disbelief that everything will work out, he hopes that it will just go away, but can't stop it from growing. There's no way back now. The next time they meet again he decides to face her. After some awkward moments their eyes meet and she tells him that she likes him. He explodes. It doesn't matter now if it's gonna be a one night stand or a long relationship. He wants her BAD. But in a very sinister and dominant way. He wants to press against her chest, hold her tight and fuck her like crazy till she's completely exhausted. He wants to "do things to her" while she just lie still and submit. Of course, he doesn't want to tear her apart literally. This song is awesome and I can relate to it. A shame that so many misunderstand it. |
