Just for informational purposes to people wondering about the title of the song: A "K-Hole" is a sensation experienced after consuming large quantities of "special K" or ketamine. It is described as a "K-Hole" because of the feelings of sinking into a pit and inability to move.

Berman seems to be such a burnout to me, I bet he's not even using k-hole metaphorically.
I like to think he wanted to drink a bottle of whiskey to forget his troubles but it was after 9PM and he had to go home and blow lines of K instead. Small doses of K are kind of like being drunk anyway.
Ok, according to an interview I read, this song is about the K Street Project which involves congressional republicans getting kickbacks from powerful lobbyists, wikipedia has a decent article about it. But that's probably just Berman trying to be witty and piss off the interviewer who was a total tool, it's probably still about drugs.
all i know to be true is that the strongest catalyst for his pre-TW#s drug addiction was crack + dilaudid. he was also drinking ridiculous amounts of vodka. when addicts have more than one vice they tend to do all kinds of drugs, so i'm pretty sure he was using ketamine.
it's interesting to me because as long as i've been using drugs i have never even seen ketamine. i used to live in east nashville, very very close to him, and crack was rampant. dilaudid + oxycontin were attainable.. but i never saw ketamine. even when i was living in detroit i never saw it. heroin houses and all.
