@TayControl, i know exactly how you feel, right now i'm in love with my best friend too and this song makes me think of her every time i hear it. the first time i realized i loved her and listened to this song it made me cry. the song is so powerful. every one of their songs i feel like i can relate to her somehow, and it only makes me lover her more. |

MFKR was not their 4th or 5th album, it was their demo they made back in the mid-90's. A lot of the songs on that Cd eventually became the songs on their self titled album, thats why it "blends into the background of the Slipknot career". You don't have to be a hardcore Slipknot fan to know about MFKR, but at least know where it falls in their history |

Exactly, MFKR was a demo, they had a song on that Cd entitled Slipknot and that's where they got their name, it was a demo and the songs on that Cd eventually became the songs on their self titled album |

Mate Feed Kill Repeat was their demo long before their self titled, it doesn't really count since the demos on that CD eventually turned into the self titled album. and Slipknot4eva, Stone Sour was Corey Taylor's first band before he ever joined slipknot, he didnt join them to tone down the screaming, he put them on hold to join Slipknot but went back and got them off the ground. |

this song is about how when people get famous they have to deal with all the tabloid bullshit that comes with success. 5FDP wrote this song to show that they're not giving into the the bullshit. the official music video also makes fun of the cliches of rap and hip hop music, said Jason Hook their guitarist. check it out, it'll all make sense.

ok, i'm a christian and i love this song. why? because i'm not the type of christian that thinks everyone needs to believe what i believe. Ivan Moody sings about his opinion of religion and i respect that. I have my own beliefs and sometimes disagree with my own religion. I'm not a "puppet on a string". you can believe anything you want, just stop disrespecting others for their beliefs. All religions can coexist and whether you choose to follow one or not is your own choice and again, i respect that.
and the song doesn't even have to be about christianity, it can be about any other religion. you people just chose christianity right away because apparently it's the cause of all the worlds problems and you people look for something to blame it on.how about you stop blaming the religion and start blaming the people that have highly skewed views of those opinions. again i'm a christian, you don't have to be, but we can still respect each other. |
