Jewel – Who Will Save Your Soul Lyrics 14 years ago
I liked this song okay when it first came out. shortly after I grew to F'in HATE it. not Jewel's fault thought. I worked at a Cinemark movie theater in 96. y'know how they would play music in the auditoriums when the movie wasn't showing? well for a month they played only "Cinemark's Featured Artists". a month of nothing but Jewel and Hootie and the Blowfish. basically their two big albums of that time. man, I wanted to quit after a couple of weeks. their music was what I had to sweep up theaters to

Joe Walsh – In The City Lyrics 14 years ago
great song, but you're right, I can't hear it without picturing the Warriors on the beach. its how I first heard this song when I was about 12. I had it on VHS. I used to play the credits all the time just to hear this song. when a buddy of mine introduced me to Limewire about 8 years ago, he let me make a fantasy CD. In The City was one of the first songs I thought of.

The Kinks – This Time Tomorrow Lyrics 14 years ago
I think the snobs who are hating on the folks who learned of this song from Darjeeling need to ease up. not everyone in the world is as old as you. some kids of another generation would have no way of knowing of this song had they not heard it in the movie. but the one who did probably loved it, learned who sang it, downloaded it and now rock it on their iPod. whats wrong with that?

Its sad that people get annoyed when others enjoy the same things that they do, just years later. I confess I first heard this song in Darjeeling. it means a lot to me however.

I used to fly in the Navy. I wasn't a pilot, just a crewmember. an in-flight technician. if i had a nickel everytime I listened to this song on my iPod as we were taking off, I'd be eating nickel soup!
