I always hear "drive with me" at first, then later, when they've reached their destination, "drown with me". I freaking LOVE all of the ghostly and haunting elements Doves put into their music. I always imagine the samples in this tune to be representative of EVPs. (recorded ghost and spirit voices) On a funnier note, the subject matter I imagine when I listen to this one reminds me of an alternate version of the "Something to Tide You Over" story in Creepshow. (except willingly and not forced)

I agree, but that happens subconsciously so many times by accident. (I know that sounds redundant). As a musician and lyricist, it happens to me all the time. I hate it when I realize it later.

Elbow also has it in a song. As for this one... Listen to A Half Built House with the lights off and the sub woofer cranked up.. Imagine a large, old, somewhat run down colony on the moon.. a low flying apace ship comes hovering over a strip between some of the habitat domes and drops supplies in the form of a huge metal container reminiscent of a dumpster that comes crashing down, kicking up moon dust as it rolls to a stop. Yeah.
