Amenra – Terziele.Tottedood Lyrics 13 years ago
The translation goes something like this:

strike
anoint
strike
anoint

splits my soul and I see no blood
I do not know how to heal
hooks of iron and regret
I do not know how to live any more

Again I just use google translator and common sense and if anyone speaks dutch feel free to correct. I'm not quite sure what the message is that the song sends, but I think it speaks of inner strugle and of violence and regret.

The song has a longer title as many Amenra songs have. "Terziele. Slaan En Zalven. Tottedood" and it translates to "Defunct. Strike and Anoint. Up to Death"

Amenra – Silver Needle.Golden Nail Lyrics 13 years ago
The song has a dark story. It has something to do with drugs and abuse. Maybe there is a couple or two friends and the other one introduces the other to drugs. The druguse escalates and the relationship between the people goes bad. The other begins to dominate the weaker one and in the end the weaker one just wants everything to end, wants to be cruxified or he/she sees that the dominator is cruxifying the other. The dominator is bitter and thinks the other one owes him everything and maybe even tries to kill the weak one.

Amenra – Ritual Lyrics 13 years ago
The man in this song is a fiend. Someone is his obsession and he tries anything to get his or her attention. In the end he kills his obsession and is captured and shackled.

The song has also been titled "Ritual I" since there is another song titled "Ritual II", but they dropped the "I" in the Mass III-II + Mass IIII compilation album.

Amenra – Razoreater Lyrics 13 years ago
This song was the song that made me listen to Amenra. It's a song of strugle. I've always imagined that the singer has a dialog with his mirror image and I can see the setting in a bathroom. He tries to be strong in disadvantaged times, but isn't strong enough and tries to take the easy way out: suicide. But his inner being, his soul steps in at the last moment and talks to him and saves his life. The window in the song is the mirror and I can visualize the soul shouting from the mirror as the mans image.

Amenra – Némelèndèlle Lyrics 13 years ago
This could be my favourite Amenra song. It's really deep and powerful and I just love the singing. The song is a lovestory. I see the singer as the man and he sings for his woman. Somehow something came between them, but the woman did something. Even after that the man can't let go and still wants to take care and love her. The man isn't a stalker or fiend, but the woman doesn't want to be with him and this tears the mans soul. The man has faith and prays that everything would be like it once was.

"Némelèndèlle" is a phonetic transcription of the Western Flanders dialect for "Heaven and Hell" and the longest name for the song has been at one time "Némelèndèlle. Twuhste En Tljihste". I don't know what that means. Maybe someone could translate?

Amenra – Le Gardien Des Réves Lyrics 13 years ago
I have a dark view of this song. I'm not quite sure what it's all about, but I can see a couple in love that are torn apart. I'm not sure what the journey is that they take. Maybe they do drugs and have an overdose, or maybe they commit suicide or maybe it's just a nightmare that the singer has about a lost love. Anyway something bad happenes and the man wants to be with his loved one, but can't hold on. He tries and tries, but in the end the loved one is lost.

"Le Gardien Des Réves" is french for "The Keeper of Dreams". I don't speak french and used google translator to translate.

Amenra – Le Fils.Des Faux Lyrics 13 years ago
I really like this song. I see a story of a dying king and his son. The son isn't his own by blood but is adopted and tries to make the king proud in the dying mans last hour. I imagine a sunworshiping culture around the song since the sun has a strong presense. It's also quite clever that the words sun and son can be switched in the lyrics and you get different meanings for the sentances. The story goes like this. The king is soon going to pass away and his heir is summoned. They have a dialog at the kings deathbed right before he dies and in the end the son accepts the role of king.

"Le Fils" means "The Son" and "Des Faux" means "False". The song also has had a longer name before. I've seen it called "Le Fils Des Faux. Il Fallait Que Je Parte. Pour Que Tu Viennes" which I think means "The False Son. I must go for you to come". I'm not a native speaker in french so maybe someone else could clarify this.

Amenra – From Birth to Grave Lyrics 13 years ago
There isn't much in the song to interpret. The long growing body of the song could symbolize growth or aging and the few sentances in the song support this theory. I think this is a song about a life cycle of a single human.

I've seen the song title writen as "From Birth To Grave. From Shadow To Light", but it's shortened in the Mass III-II + Mass IIII compilation album to just "From Birth To Grave" . I don't know why Amenra shortened their song names, but they did it anyway. Confusing, yes. Necessary, no. Reasonable, maybe.

Amenra – De Dodenakker Lyrics 13 years ago
De Dodenakker means "The Killing Field" or "Graveyard" in dutch. I used google translator and am not a native speaker. I think the song is about a memory. Maybe about a great battle that happened along time ago and some poor soul has come to visit the place again. He has lost someone to the struggle and is trying to find him or her. Halfway through the song he has starts to remember the battle and starts to rekindle his feelings of that bloody day.

But I can see another way to see the song. Maybe the singer is a man in a graveyard and he is mourning his loved one. He is so distraught that he wants to join him or her in the ground, maybe even buries himself alive.

Amenra – Aorte Lyrics 13 years ago
I see the songs as a lovestory gone bad. A man is weak and hurt. He meets a woman, who turns out to be the love of his life, an angel he thinks. She seduces him and he thinks they will be together always, she would guide him to a better place. Turns out she isn't what he thinks he is. She then leaves and the man thinks he is betrayed and commits suicide. The story isn't quite so obvious and there is room for interpretation. The story could also be a lovestory with a tragedy. The man could be mourning his dead wife or loved one and is at a point where he commits suicide to follow her to the other side.

I've seen the song title writen as "Aorte. Nous sommes du même sang", but it's shortened in the Mass III-II + Mass IIII compilation album. The longer name is french and spells "Aorta. We are of the same blood". I used google translator to translate it. The Aorta is the hearts and bodys biggest artery.

Amenra – Am Kreuz Lyrics 13 years ago
I think the story in Am Kreuz is quite simple. Am Kreuz is german for "On the Cross". It's the story of Jesus and his last voyage to the cross. First he gets flayed and he is torn and then his journey to be cruxified begins. The man never tells us who he is, but it's quite obvious even without saying it. The spear is the spear of Longinus and the crown is the one he was given before his cruxifiction. Maybe the woman singing in the song symbolises Mary Magdalene. There were only three women at the end anyway. His mother, his mothers sister and Mary Magdalene. The last sentances are not Jesuses last words, but he did talk to god so I see the lyrics as his last shouts to god before the end.

Amen Ra – Le Fils. Des Faux. Lyrics 13 years ago
Maybe the son isn't related by blood. He talks about "the" father not "my" father. Only "my king", so I can see that the king doesn't have a direct descendent. Maybe the king never had a son and the son in the song is his chosen disciple or chosen by the ruling party of the time. I can see this song taking place in ancient times, maybe Egyptian or another sunworshiping culture.

I've started to correct the other lyrics for Amenra and as soon as I'm confident on my writings I'll start to submit them in the forums. Thanks for the tip.

Amen Ra – Le Fils. Des Faux. Lyrics 13 years ago
I, must go, for you to come!
When I, will praise, you into heaven!
I, will raise, you to the sun!
When I, must go, for you to come!

All rise!
Rise!
All rise!
All rise!
For here comes the,
For here comes the son!
The father!
He is my king!
The father!
He is my king!
The father!
The father my king!

And I will rise, I will rise as your son.
I will be the one.
I will be the one.
And to the warmth of the sun you will come.
I will love and guide you.
As you were my son.
And to the sons of the sun I will pray.
No harm will come.
It won't get in your way.
And I will rise, I will rise as your sun.
I will be the one.
I will be the one.
And to the warmth of the sun you will come.
I will love and guide you.
As you were my own.
And I will rise, yay I rise like your son.
I'll be the one.
I will rise as your son.

All rise!
All rise!
Bow to the son!
I will be the one!

It's a bit tricky to truly understand the song since the words sun and son are identical and if you switch them around you can get different meanings to the sentances. I wrote the song down since the original lyrics seem to be garbage. These lyrics are based on the song from the Mass III-II compilation album.

Anyways I love this song and to me it describes a scene with a king on his final hour. The father is dying and is having a conversation with his son after the big announcement that the he is dying. The King passes and rises into heaven and watches over the son as the sun... wierd, but that's the meaning I get :).
