i know this song's about war and death. but when i have a band, i want to cover it and make a music video, cuz i think this song can relate to the struggle of non-straight people, if you look at it that way. of course i did for some reason, maybe cuz i'm a fag. music video would be about a closeted bisexual killing himself, then his wife and childhood bully trying to change people's opinions on this issue cuz of all the fags and bis that kill themselves. who thinks this would be a good idea? and who thinks it may insult this awesome band and awesome song? |

i'm sure someone's noticed the lyrical and musical similarities between MH and Metallica. i think this song is a great hit like Master Of Puppets, and maybe MH wanted to have an epic drug hit like Metallica does. still, this song is based on certain people, whereas Metallica was just making a vague song |

From some of MH's lyrics, and choosing to cover Hallowed Be Thy Name, i believe MH members are Christian. I am very devout. I divide Christians into 2 groups: smart ones and dumb ones. I am a smart one, and Robb is, if he is Christian. the dumb ones are the ones that run organized religion. actually, i have met quite a few smart ones in church, including some preachers. when i hear this song, i think of the fight between the two types, and how us smart ones aren't giving up.
i'm against abortion though. not just cuz i'm Christian, it seems wrong. |
