I'm thinking he was singing for Rob Halford from Judas Priest who like guys. But it could be for both, I think Dio in a way was supporting him, and all of what I said above could be taken as well about Rob. |

It took me awhile to understand it, but watching the video and hearing other opinions I finally came up with an interpretation. He mentions in "Don't Talk To Strangers" (I know different song but there's a point) that "Women always bring you down" and I think growing up he had a hard time with them and maybe they saw through him "Who's lost and never found", and so he couldn't stop thinking about the struggles he had with them " I lost my hold to the shadows of the night. There's no sign of the morning coming, You've been left on your own" meaning he couldn't stop thinking about it and he looked out his window to see a sign of morning. As for the "Rainbow in the Dark", it could be that his true colours of himself nobody saw, like how it's impossible to see a rainbow in the dark. The picture could be someone who he admired but it was "only an image caught in time". And "I cry out for magic" could mean that while he was lost in his thoughts, he wished that magically the one he admired he could come forth to tell this person, or be with them, but it's only found in the light, however he's stuck in the dark being the rainbow that's not found. The demons are the ones who had hurt him with these thoughts about someone that buried inside of him. |

I don't think he was writing about Hitler... When you draw 8, it's like a track, going in circles right? |

No fuck you! What do you listen to? Don't tell someone "fuck you" just because of what they listen to. Everyone listen and grew up listening to different kinds of music. And if you're going to say that, you must have a mind of a 6 year old. And if you're saying that their music is a little immature, THAT'S THE POINT! If you knew what Blink meant...

(BTW if you're just saying that to piss people off, it was stupid...) |
