| Michael Jackson – Heartbreaker Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
My favourite MJ song ever! This song is bascially about a girl seducing him and tricking him into falling in love with her. She's playing him and stringing him along and it's winding Michael up because he's into her. She's a heartbreaker because she's not interested in love and romance, she just wants to mess around with him. |

| Michael Jackson – Invincible Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| The girl is invincible in the sense that she is hard to reach and obtain. She cares more about the materialistic side of her relationship with another man, whereas Michael thinks he could give her his heart and be 'more than you could ever dream' and treat like the most important person in the world. But he's not getting through to her and she won't give in to him. | |
| Michael Jackson – Why You Wanna Trip On Me Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
Michael is annoyed about why there is so much attention and focus on his life when there are so many problems in the world that need solving. He's basically saying, "Leave me alone and concentrate on what really matters". |

| The Rasmus – Madness Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I think Lauri once said that somewhere in this song, The Rasmus' ex-drummer Janne came into the question. "No-one to blame for losing the flame" - Janne lost his passion for the music and the band. | |
| The Rasmus – What Ever Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
This song is about the struggles and anguish of the inability to reach someone through lyrics. "Disaster strikes, I try to write, describe the things I hold inside..." He wants to really open up and say what's on his mind and get a few things off his chest but he has 'writer's block' and feels like something is holding him back. "My future seems to stay unknown, all alone in need of some assistance" He doesn't know whether songwriting and music could be a lifetime thing for him as it's difficult to describe exactly how he feels. He needs assistance to help himself understand why he can't open up to someone. OR it could mean in a love-and-relationship sense; if he can't talk properly to this person then their future is unknown together. "Here comes the fear again, walls are closing in, smoke fills the air" Quite simply, he's panicking over the situation. "What ever I say, what ever I write, what ever I do, I'm not getting through to you" People, or one person in particular, aren't understanding him properly. He doesn't know exactly how to communicate to them to make them comprehend something. |

| The Rasmus – Run To You Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
This song is quite simply about taking a break in a relationship in the promise that you will return to them because you will always have feelings for them. He is leaving, metaphorically or not, but will return when the journey is over - perhaps the journey is discovering what he really wants or maybe it's giving himself some time to think. "If I stay with you and linger here another moment I would fade into the scenery; you wouldn't even see me I've got nothing left to offer you, it's not that I don't care..." He's basically saying that the novelty of the relationship has worn off and he feels invisible to his other half, as she's more preoccupied with other things. He feels as if there isn't a point in staying where he's not really needed at that moment. "Wait for me, keep our love alive" He still loves her and wants to be with her but they both need some time and space. He doesn't want her to meet anyone else while he is away. |

| Michael Jackson – Superfly Sister Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
Overall, this song questions sex and what it means, or shouldn't mean, to people. However there are also a few lyrics that discuss other issues in his life. "Sister's married to a hood, saying that she got it good" He could mean sister as in any girl, but apparently Michael wasn't too keen on his sister Janet's first marriage. This may have something to do with his feelings on that. "Mother's preaching Abraham, brothers they don't give damn" Michael's mother is a Jahova's Witness and brought her children up the same. However, Michael felt his brothers were somewhat unruly and cared more about having a good time and sleeping around. |

| The Rasmus – Dangerous Kind Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I think this song was written around the time singer Lauri was dealing with relationship problems between him and his baby's mother, Paula. "I've been sleeping with the enemy Now I'm doing the time Paying up for the crime" He was sleeping with her and falling in love. She's described as a dangerous kind of character, someone who stole his heart and possibly tramped on it - amongst other men's hearts too. "Now I'm doing the time" brings to mind the pregnancy too. As sleeping with the enemy had both emotional and physical consequences. "Your motive is to plant the seed..." "Caught in a web of your creation..." This suggests his feelings on the pregnancy. As if she had planned it to trap him. Whether this is true or not is unknown. |
