| Seems to me this song is told from the point of view of someone who scorns the law and is messing with them for fun. The stones the narrator stole don't matter to him, he just wants a chance to laugh at the law. They know he did it, he knows he did it, and he gets off knowing that nothing will really be done to him. I imagine the narrator wearing a shit eating grin the entire time the oh so righteous agents of the law interrogate him. | |
