Mutha (Don't Wanna Go to School Today) Lyrics
Mutha don't wanna go to school today
I think I'd rather go outside and play
They keep calling asking me
If I'll come in
Is that a sin
If being lazy is the only reason
It's getting late
So mutha don't you hesitate
To pack my lunch
And I'll be on my way to school
Mutha don't wanna go to school today
I think I'd rather go outside and play
Mutha don't wanna go to school today
I think I'd rather go outside and play
The teacher's always looking down
With her disappointed frown
Asking me to go sleep somewhere else
My levelheaded mutha
Always said to one another
That the truth will always hurt
If you keep waiting
I said waiting
I think I'd rather go outside and play
If I'll come in
Is that a sin
If being lazy is the only reason
So mutha don't you hesitate
To pack my lunch
And I'll be on my way to school
I think I'd rather go outside and play
I think I'd rather go outside and play
With her disappointed frown
Asking me to go sleep somewhere else
Always said to one another
That the truth will always hurt
If you keep waiting
I said waiting

Ok, erm, its quite simple. Don't wanna go to school today because i'd rather go out and play.
FUCKING KICK ASS GUITAR IN THIS SONG!
Yeah it's pretty clear, a kid deciding he'll play truant today because the same shit always happens at school.
This is my favourite song of all time, by my favourite band ever. The guitar rules all the way through, but what I love the most is the key change at the end Gary Cherone rings out "MUTHAAAAA" whilst the band sing the chorus words as normal...and the nanana's during the fade, which people normally hate but they really work at the end.
The first time I heard this song i thought i heard this
The teacher's always looking down When I piss upon the ground
teehee
