I can relate to this song perfectly. I am relieved to hear it's about a mental hospital. I have some real mental problems that I won't go into, but this really fits the way my mind works. I sometimes feel like my own mind attacks me and starts screaming at me, and I can't breathe or anything. This song sounds like the illness speaking to a person. |

Because he's hurt by how much he let her down and he loves her. "Now our history is for sale And for that I apoligize You see you're my only know how The study of when I believe I belonged to you" I think the history for sale is talking about the fact that alot of the songs on this album are about her. Because she's the only thing he knows, the newest chapter in his life because they just split. "You see I've made you into something delicious, My sweet ghost" Talking about the fact that he made her into something better than she really was because of all the songs he wrote about her. And the "ghost" thing is metaphorical I think. |
