| It messed up the lyrics I submitted so what I had originally put was "batshit" instead of "bad shit" which makes less sense since batshit crazy is an actual saying. Also just to add my two cents on meaning, I think it's pretty clear but it's a very meaningful song especially if you're like me and have some mental issues like OCD, bad anxiety, and panic disorder. It feels to me like she is saying that it's ok to have some issues and be "crazy" and that doesn't mean anything is innately wrong with you; it's just a part of who you are. | |

I don't know why they did this, but these are NOT the lyrics I submitted. I don't know what that lyric find thing is but it's pretty terrible at its job. I've noticed this with other songs I've submitted as well. | This song immediately made me think of my OCD and what I deal with everyday when an intrusive thought pops into head. This song made me think about how my therapist tells me to handle my obsessions. She tells me to focus on the things around me, things that are real like the presence or absence of sound when I start to get anxious about one of the thoughts. The song's not an exact match its just the first thing I thought about. | |

Does anyone else get reminded of the Phantom of the Opera when listening to this song, it fits it almost to a tee. For example: the Phantom fell in love with Christine after hearing her beautiful voice and when Christine first goes into the Phantom's house/cave she is surrounded by mirrors. Over time, she realizes that he's not as perfect as she had originally thought. |
