FYI a basket case is someone who is mentally ill and relies on others for pretty much everything. I read some article that after WWI basket cases were referred to people in hospitals that both arms and legs were amputated, so I guess thats where it first originated. |

@Unright that doesn't make sense. A song is whether good or bad, whether you like it or don't or just don't care for it. You don't listen to a song and say "I don't like this song anymore, it was only good the first time." Music isn't comedy, where someone tells you a joke over and over again, you just start saying WTF thats not funny anymore, it was only funny the first time, but not a song. Good music lasts forever. |

Its pretty obvious that the meaning of the song is that everything in life, all emotions, events, people, will all pass with time. This too shall pass is a saying that you would refer to in a bad situation where things aren't going your way, and you would remember that it will pass and something greater will soon come. |
