For me this is about being bullied, having your ambitions belittled by others. Growing till tall could mean to stand out from the crowd, to gain self belief and to achieve what you want despite others. Knowing that your detractors will fall in the end brings me great comfort. They will fall and you will grow. Musically this is a fantastic song. Building from delicate vocals and sublime music the harsher more electronic end of the song is the perfect contrast and adds more power to the line "you'll know" emphasising that you will, in time, grow. |

This is a beautiful song, the fact that you can hear the musicians take a breath on the recording makes it truly special for me. It has overtones two definite moods, sad and melancholy at the start, then from 2.48 it changes to being more erethral and almost spiritual. Almost overtones of SR Ara Batur. A pause and then a return to the solemn instrumentals. Hengilas means Padlock in Icelandic. |
