@[reflect4ever:33839] About as convincing as John Lennon claiming Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds wasn't LSD related. |

Ringo Starr – Photograph Lyrics

I think it's about Paul who died in 1966. They could never publicly mourn his death, since they immediately hired a replacement and had to pretend it was him. |

The Rutles – Cheese And Onions Lyrics
|
This song is a parody of John Lennon songs like "A Day In the Life" and Imagine. The lyrics are intentionally nonsensical and meaningless. The song was written by Neil Innes of the Rutles, but he was forced to include Lennon/McCartney due to alleged copyright violations. In reality, both the melody and the lyrics are original. Only the Lennon's style was copied. |

Great song. No idea what it means. Maybe it's about the perils of procrastination. Putting off until tomorrow what needs to be done today. |

John Lennon – How Do You Sleep? Lyrics

@kassyoulai: I agree, John would not have been so bitter towards the original Paul. This was addressed to Paul's replacement. He's asking him how can he live with himself pretending to be someone else. Otherwise the line "how do you sleep" makes no sense. |

BTW they lifted some of the starting melody (probably subconsciously) from "Never My Love" by the Association. Both great songs. |
