This person is afraid of dying because he doesn't feel worthy of a good afterlife so he just wants to stay on earth, alive. It doesn't matter if he's destitute, he's questioning his afterlife and has doubts. He doesn't hear or see the person he wants to stay with him because he's already dead this is OKAY! Also learning from the dark past and promising to have a better present and future. Rising from the ashes is key, not staying down and out. "I bleed for you" is helping someone during dark times. This is so much like Angels Fall - I love it. |

This song reminds me of Evil Angel only because of the part of being afraid to be left alone. This song is like a plea to not be left alone. Someone tells you they will never leave you and then they do. Evil Angel told the story of fake friends, or someone of pretended to be there for you. I guess the major similarity is the main person is so afraid to be left alone - maybe a phobia of Ben's he hasn't stated? |
