I slighty deffer from that. Slighty.
I adore the research theory, but maybe it's about how no matter what, even if she wants to take it slow, the feelings started way back in time, maybe they already knew each other. Destiny and all that.
The Devil's water is the letting go, letting things happen. Those thing that feel great but are not such a good idea. Is the "Devil" here like sin?

Sure, you're probably right, it is however a great interpretation of the song.
Although "When two people become one" doesn't really annul that he might only be refering to himself. We can feel like two different people in different situations for example. |

I agree with 4ever2gether.
It's about how everything can end so fast.
Take the song's great vibe and how it describes a good day and everything... I guess it's to show how smooth lifes seems sometimes, about how we have to capture the best moments... Because "I guess you never see that Taxi"... I'm aware how corny it's sounds. |

Listen to when she says "No one's got it all", she repeats "ALL" three times, which sounds to me like a "Ah Ah" (negation form). I think she's trying to say that even if we all do want everything... Na ah... We can't, silly us. |
