Ok so I was talking to my brother about this song last night. When he aske me what I thought some of lyrics may mean. He thought that the line "god will give him, blood to drink" was about him hopping he would be confronted by the new boyfriend and get to punch him in the mouth. I disagreed and offered this response: I think the lines, "saw the two of you leaving didn't want to follow behind but i could see the rest of your evening Burrning in my mind" speekas to him seeing the girl he loves with the new guy and him just waving her off as a lost cause while the following little chourus: "god will give him blood to drink" is his hope that the new guy goes down on her while she is one her period. Which makes him smile. |
