This same exact thing is happening to me, right now...I can't let go of him, or the times we shared...I can't let go of anything that happened. But he won't even SPEAK to me at the moment...and even if he was speaking to me, there's no way I could be his friend, which he has made clear is the most I can be (for now). "Will it ever happen again?" is the question that seems to run through my mind, nonstop... Anyway...enough with my pity party! This song is hauntingly beautiful and sad, but I also can see a bit of hope in the strong way she sings towards the end. It sometimes hurts a bit to listen to music that hits home so intensely, but maybe I can feel that hope soon as well, like she seems to. Such a lovely, lovely song. |

sweetest song in the world. for anyone who doesn't know Japanese, Ai Ta Kokoro (愛他心) would be translated to "Loving Heart" or "Altruistic Heart" which in itself is very sweet :] |

I know this song isn't REALLY about drugs but the way she talks about the "blue bird" reminds me of the ecstasy pill, blue dove...like when she says, "Hey blue bird, on my shoulder, can you carry me over?" it's like she's taking a pill and hoping it'll get her there... but yeah, I know it's not really about drugs. Just felt like throwing that connection I found out there. |

HER BEST SONG! And yes I've heard them ALL and have them ALL but this one still is, and always will be, her very best. Her voice sounds so gorgeous and passionate in it and the idea that this love so strong it's like ultraviolet rays is just so sweet. =D |

I've only listened to Sweet Heart Dealer but this is definitely my favorite song on the album. I agree with forever_haunted about their songs making me sad (and this one probably makes me more sad than any other song on the album) but despite that they're still very beautiful and I love to listen to them. This one is so hard to decipher but the line that resonates with me are, "They're laughing at us, they're not laughing with us, and again the joke's on me," like humiliation is some aspect of the song's meaning. |
