If only it were big RED tractor... But this song is amazing. I would always sit on the fender of by exboyfriend's tractor while raking hay. Just crack a beer and watch the day go by. After we were done with a long day in the fields we'd just part it up on the ridge and watch the sun set behind the farm. Such a beautiful thing. Defenitely brings back some memories. A really bittersweet song. |

Can't believe nobody's commented on this song yet!! One of my favorite Allman Bro. songs. Its about a girl breaking up with him or choosing to leave. He respects her decision because he loves her so much and "holds the door open" for her. But reminds her that he will always be there for her. "But just remember, what I said before. Please call home... if you change your mind." sends shivers down my spine. |
