As IRON MIADEN (was this intentional? lol) said, it's about not wanting to conform to other people's ideals any more and living life how they want to. Actually I think the song should have been included on the album and is a great mood lifter. |

They have been my favourite band for the last 15 years, but to say they're the only band with great people and loving families is a bit short-sighted to say the least lol. It makes out that all rock bands are a bunch of losers. :/ |

I saw this song covered live twice in the mid nineties!! LOL!
The first time we saw the band, the vocalist introduced the next song as being a Napalm Death cover, so for a laugh I shouted out "You Suffer" thinking that there's no way anyone would even bother covering it, and he smiled at me and laughed before the band played it to perfection lol.

One of my absolute favourite songs of all time, and also features my fave two John Petrucci solo (2nd and 3rd). Great lyrics about making the most from your life and taking the bull by the horns, or at leats giving your best shot (not certain of this by the way...) great song, great album.
