The perfect song for any politician, and currently this song perfectly suits Drumpf.

Tears for Fears – Mothers Talk Lyrics 13 years ago
You aren't the only. I was 14 when this song came out and that's what I thought the lyrics were as well. I never knew what exactly Roland was saying until now.

A23 played at the DNA lounge in Frisco this evening (March 13, 2011) and Tom stated that the song is about Hurricane Katrina (as stated by Passer-bye), but dedicated it tonight to the people of Japan.

There's a few instances where the line: "Now the people in the crowd" should be "People in the front"

KMFDM – Virus Lyrics 16 years ago
First song I got from KMFDM- back around '91 or '92- I got it as a 12" vinyl single. I didn't know what I was gonna get. I actually just got it 'cause the cover looked neat. Immediately loved it! Sometime later I bought the album "Money" as soon as it came out in stores. And the rest is history- still a fan after all these years.

Pink Floyd – Careful with That Axe, Eugene Lyrics 16 years ago
Just had to post and say that this was one song that scared me when my older brothers would play it back in the early 70's- I probably was about 4 years old.

Anyway, the way that I interpreted this song (thanks to my brothers) was that not only was the song about an axe murderer, but a cannibalistic one.

Now I'm going by the version on "Relics"- so follow me as I try to explain as best as I can. The best hint about this comes near the end of the track:

5:24- drums have dropped out of the song, bass plays cycling two-notes, keyboard notes ebb down the scale. Eugene's victim is near death and quickly fading away.

5:26- sound of lips smacking. Eugene begins his feast.

5:30- squeak noises. Innards of victim being devoured.

5:40- sound of lips smacking. Eugene has consumed his "prize" and finishes with a satisfied "ahh!" as the song ends (turn up volume to hear this)

Hey, I'm willing to admit that I may be way off the mark, but this has been my view of the song for the past 30 years.

Seabound – Domination Lyrics 17 years ago
At a recent show in San Francisco Frank introduces this piece by saying "We like a little bit of erotica. Do you like kinky sex?"

I think that pretty much sets it in stone what this song is about.

Front 242 – Crushed Lyrics 17 years ago
sorry Black Dahlia, but the vocalist is indeed female. Check out the you tube clip for "Animal" and you will see that guest singer 99 Kowalski is indeed a woman- and a rather attractive one too. Well that song is over 10 years old now so who knows what she looks like now. But yeah, singer defintely a woman.
