| Tool – The Pot Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Yes, because every song written after 2003 has to do with the US/Iraq war and Bush. You're a fucking moron. | |
| Joe Purdy – Brand New Set of Wings Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Haha, he doesn't say "Oh Suzanna", he says "Oh Sally". Great song though, thanks for the lyrics! |

| Marilyn Manson – Four Rusted Horses Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Actually, it goes: "We'll ride this dying carousel Four rusting horses strangled by their own rope What children love are singing "We all know that their tied hearts had broke That their tied hearts had broke" Fix it. |

| Marilyn Manson – Into the Fire Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Sorry, posted the unrevised version.. these lyrics are correct, including the chorus - please update This the film Close to the third act and the misery It's not rain, you rapist werewolves It's God pissing down on you We'll die alone, 'cause I'll break off my own arms Sharpen my bones Stab you once for each time I thought of you Trying to take something you'll never be good enough To even look upon It's better to push something away that's slipping Than to risk being dragged down If you want to hit bottom Don't bother to try taking me with you I won't answer if you call Two heartbeats dyin' in hell Trying to break your fall This isn't a mob Won't need to change the names Everyone around you Has murdered someone, something sacred Isn't one nail without dirt under it Isn't any white cotton panties That aren't soaked and stained red It's better to push something away that's slipping Than to risk being dragged down If you want to hit bottom Don't bother to try taking me with you I won't answer if you call Two heartbeats dyin' in hell Trying to break your fall Into the fire Into the fire Into the fire Into the fire Fire, ohh Into the fire Fire, ohh Into the fire Fire, ohh Into the fire Fire, ohh |

| Avenged Sevenfold – Afterlife Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This song is about turtles, how their majestic frames glide through the seas looking for greener pastures and tasty kelp. Towards the end of the song he sings of the turtle's plight in their war against communism and that piracy is not the best course of action when the younger turtles take drugs. | |
| Slipknot – Psychosocial Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
And the chorus could very well be 'rain', and not 'reign'. The first verse says: "Go drill your gases Go dig your graves Then fill your mouth with all the money you will save Sinking in, getting smaller again Undone, it has begun I'm not the only one" Could be referring to the environment and the effect mankind has had on it from all the fossil fuels harvested and burnt, with global warming and such. Acid rain and other hazards created from all the shit being put into the atmosphere. But that's just my take on it. |
|
| Slipknot – Psychosocial Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| All of you idiots saying this is "All Hope Is Gone" obviously know nothing and have no business posting comments to this song. This is Psychosocial, I'm listening to it now. Fucking emo trash, you know nothing about music. | |
| Fort Minor – Strange Things Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Man, no one's commented on this. It didn't make the Fort Minor album, but this is such a great song and I can totally relate to it. The meaning is obvious, about growin' up as an outcast and lookin' back when you've gotten older and reflecting over things you did and things you should've done. | |
| Nirvana – Something in the Way Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| According to Kurt, he had a boring life and never did much, and that he regretted just sitting around not doing anything, so he'd make up stories to make his life sound interesting. At one point, he'd said that he was homeless and lived under a bridge at some point after his parents divorced and he bounced from relative to relative, in his teens. Whether he ever was homeless and lived under a bridge or not, I'm pretty sure this is what the song is about. Living under a bridge and trapping animals for food, but then keeping them as pets instead of killing them. Sounds like Kurt. RIP. | |
| Cradle of Filth – Absinthe with Faust Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
You left out an entire part! "I remember the night as if it were engraved, A bright marble bridge stretched across dark waves To the shore from the moon and by Her grace, Came that erudite stranger. That fucker... Come my friend, to fate let's raise Two finger shots at this our last soiree'. For tomorrow I fear, Swoops all too deadly near. The precipitous wear to Hell's high gate." Should be.. I remember the night as if it were engraved, A bright marble bridge stretched across dark waves To the shore from the moon and by Her grace, Came that erudite stranger. That fucker... He was a predator, creditor cold Our blood was young on the yellowing scroll And all that glittered was not gold But we wanted everything.. And for it all, lost our souls Come my friend, to fate let's raise Two finger shots at this our last soiree'. For tomorrow I fear, Swoops all too deadly near. The precipitous weir to Hell's high gate We touched the stars That now laugh from afar At we, the damned The damned The damned The damned The damned He was a predator, creditor cold Our blood was young on the yellowing scroll And all that glittered was not gold But we wanted everything.. And for it all, lost our souls Our souls For it all, lost our souls Our souls" |

| Metallica – Low Man's Lyric Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
You'll find the correct lyrics here: My eyes seek reality My fingers seek my veins There's a dog at your back step He must come in from the rain I fall cause I've let go The net below has rot away So my eyes seek reality And my fingers seek my veins The trash fire is warm But nowhere safe from the storm And I can't bear to see What I've let me be So wicked and worn So as I write to you Of what is done and to do Maybe you'll understand And won't cry for this man Cause low man is due Please forgive me My eyes seek reality My fingers feel for faith Touch clean with a dirty hand I touch the clean to the waste The trash fire is warm But nowhere safe from the storm And I can't bear to see What I've let me be So wicked and worn So as I write to you Of what is done and to do Maybe you'll understand And won't cry for this man Cause low man is due Please forgive me Please forgive me Please forgive me So low the sky is all I see All I want from you is forgive me So you bring this poor dog in from the rain Though he just wants right back out again And I cry to alleyway Confess all to the rain But I lie, lie straight to the mirror The one I've broken, to match my face The trash fire is warm But nowhere safe from the storm And I can't bear to see What I've let me be So wicked and worn So as I write to you, yeah Of what is done and to do, yeah Maybe you'll understand And won't cry for this man Cause low man is due Please forgive me Please forgive me So low the sky is all I see All I want from you is forgive me So you bring this poor dog in from the rain Though he just wants right back out again My eyes seek reality My fingers seek my veins |

| Shinedown – Save Me Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| ColdenScence, go blow a fuckin' horse. You obviously don't get real music. You're saying Nickelback and Foo Fighters are better than Shinedown? Get the fuck out. Foo Fighters are okay, and that's being generous, but Nickelback just plain sucks. Much like the rest of mainstream poprock aka GARBAGE. You want to listen to shit that RECORD LABELS created instead of the ARTISTS THEMSELVES, go right ahead. But Shinedown is an amazing band who not only convey the depth and emotion of a song through the melody, but also through the vocalists' powerful voice and lyrical talent. | |
| Combichrist – Blut Royale Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Blut means Blood in German. Basically Andy's saying it's a bloodfest, or going to be one. | |

| Skold – Believe Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Ugh.. "You build your hole in far inside Your perfect world must compromise Drugs, guns, and anarchy Blood, guns, and sodomy You still don’t know who the hell you are You’re only worried about the powers by your cutter god Drugs, guns, and anarchy Blood, guns, and sodomy I hope you switch yourself" Is actually.. "You dug a hole and crawl inside Your perfect world was compromised Drugs, guns, and anarchy Blood, guts, and sodomy You still don’t know who the hell you are You’re only worried about the balance on your credit card Drugs, guns, and anarchy Blood, guts, and sodomy I hope you switch yourself" I can't tell what he says at the end of the verse, but it's not "I hope your switch yourself." If anyone else can make out what it is, feel free to contribute, obviously. Also, the line "I am the final step you take to watch your sanity." Is actually "I am the final step you take towards your sanity." I think that is all.. |
|
| Skold – Believe Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Sorry, I fucked up the lyrics a bit. Where it says.. "Drugs, guns, and anarchy Blood, guns, and sodomy" It's actually.. "Drugs, guns, and anarchy Blood, guts, and sodomy" |

| Skold – Don't Pray For Me Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
No comments on this one either. You all fail. This song is badass, on so many levels. The meaning, however, is obvious, and needs no explanation. |
|
| Skold – The Point Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Wow, no one's commented this song yet? This song is amazing.. To me, this song is about going through a relationship, being in love and being deceived or hurt in some manner and losing that love, or atleast the relationship. Being betrayed and left, still in love with the person and becoming suicidal over it. I've been there. Everytime I listen to this song, it strikes that oh-so-familiar nerve in such a beautiful way. "What's the point in dying, when the world thinks you're already dead?" This really sounds like it means being alone, or feeling alone. What's the point in dying if there's no one to miss you? "What's the point in dying if you're already dead anyway?" I think this means feeling dead on the inside, having a lack or absence of emotion and/or feeling. Being hurt so much, so many times, that it just tears you up inside so much to the point where you feel nothing and you're pretty much "dead inside." |
