Answer...a common phrase going thru (insert any object) like water...just means going thru a lot of them....so I would imagine in context of this song, just means her precious illusions have protected her dating all ot of men and not getting hurt emotionally. This seems to be about believing in yourself and say F you to everyone else and do what you think is best.
I would assume it is a shot at former band mates, records execs and the media that doubted Axl. Regardless
of the meaning, this songs seems to me to the closest thing to anything soundling like Appetite for Destruction.
Most of the other new stuff either sounds very new, or a lot of it would fit in on Use Your Illusion. |

Between this and I am the spider for best song on the album. Though this song is closest to being anything like what IMO was his best recent Album: Brutal Planet. I know Alice has decided to strip down his albums for the more basic sounds. As evident by this album and the previous two. I only hope he will do one more heavy album with a 'produced' sound to it. But if not, I am still happy to get some new alice any time....as long as he does not put out some gospel album :P |

This song is not about nazi skinheads...not all skinheads are nazi's. They would be Neo-Nazi Skinheads. Skinheads in general are a anti-authoriatarian group, race has little do with it. But I would agree it is the neo-nazi skinheads that most people relate the term too. But this song is about a Boston skinhead of the punk variety not the nazi one, stealing a train known as the T in Boston, from the Massachusettes Bay Transportation Authority. |

The album itself was a running story and this song fits in with rest of them. The Album loosly reminded of the movie Something Wicked This Way Comes. The album Is about a traveling carnival that collects people souls. In this song the person relaizes the ring leader, is promiosing the world, but it's all lies just trying to get his soul. Great song tho...and of course it can meaning far beyond the contruct of the albums plotline. |

This song is incredible, and this album was his best in recent memory, it wasnt so over-produced such as Trash or Under-produced like Dirt Diamonds (which I know was Alices intent).....and the general feel of the album was harder and darker which I liked. Keep going Alice. |

I do like this song, but it is a bit "Meat Loafy". Also not sure of the musical term...if its a chord or something...but it seemes part of this music is very similar to a Courtney Love song, cannot remember which..but obviously came out after this song...so maybe she sampled a bit. |

I enjoy this song a lot....and not sure why everyone here has a hard time saying it (maybe because I am male it is easy) ...U = UR HAND TONIGHT, is pink saying you will be going home alone to masterbate cause you aint getting any. It's not about exboyfirends or any of that...it is simplpy her and some friends in a club and are tired of guys constantly coming up coping a feel, grinding up on em or just hitting on them. Pretty straight forward. The male equivalnt with same out come (not same message)is PARALYZER by finger 11...guy goes to club wants to hit on girls but cant and goes home alone.....both songs are great. |
