Hahh, I'm confused. Someone explain this to me? What with the two versions of Parachutes, the long one and, well, this one? Who's singing the long one? Where can I find it? What's up with that? Somebody please explain this to a confused girl. Haha. xD |

Mmmh. I think there are several mistakes in the lyrics, e.g. "You spoke to my silence, 'Why so cold?'" in the first verse... and "You ask for peace, I give you war" in the chorus... and "I didn't know I was missing out, til you lost and I, I won / You made me realize my incompleteness alone" Anyway, right at this very moment, the song suits so perfectly to my situation. imo, it's about the relationship between two people, that are always fighting, and the one that's singing the song just can't give that up, continues to fight without wanting to ("Breathless, the emotions seeping out beyond my control"), although the other one is begging for peace. |

That song really got to me today. "I need a look that stunns ya, makes ya wanna stay. I guess the song's about trying to make someone love you, although they don't know you and/or don't like you, or only as a friend... |
