I think this song deals about child abusin'."Getting used to pain". Unfortunately the girl cant talk with anybody about this topic. "I'll die trying to break this thick crust of silence". The man(father?) that is abusing her, experienced a lot of pain in his childhood to. So he didnt see, why he should behave to his owhn child in another way. Disco Queen deals with women who go to disco show their bodies and think they are uniqe and great individuals. Daniel wants to show that these persons have a life only existing of sex and drugs. When you look close you can see that these things dont make life easier. "yet emptier than before". That "Disco Queen" is just another girl to dance, to have sex with and to forget.

This song deals about society. Daniel shows the link to the perfect element part I. In that album the charakter has taken all his decissions. Now he has to live with them. In the same way you can translate this meaning to society. The society has taken all decissions. Now it has to live with them(e.g. fast food, elevators, tv, selling yourself). The only way out of this hell is to die and to enter rain.
