wow, this is tough. good job with the lyrics. i have some possible fill ins for the ?'s, & heard some stuff slightly different in the second verse than what's posted: parsing through the tunnel / palisades park / summer after dark / hand holding ??? / to a party invitation from 2nd verse, 2nd line: all the coughing in the air / & the couple around the corner / at the yellow light blinking from 2nd verse, 10th line: & screeched across the floor / hands in my pocket / my eyes are unfocused |

an incident representative of a crossroads in life. climbing up a puddled hill to reach a beautiful experience - prevailing for the sake of music. i think. |

sorry, i'm leaving a comment boods, but i felt compelled! i noticed a consistent calmness/laziness in the song that matches the feel of it. it's sort of rhythmically....ummm....waft-y. And the lyrics match that really well. Sitting around.....silence...stillness...sleeping....the "air that went through us" suggests us just breathing...sulking...etc. I like the solidarity of the lyrics in that sense. Also, it feels like a love song with a duel criticism hidden underneath. we need to get out there and do some shit!!! yeah? |

| X – Los Angeles Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| "...and the words and images were so harsh and bitter that the song would reverberate in my mind for days. The images, I later found out, were personal and no one I knew shared them. The images I had were of people being driven mad by living in the city. Images of parents who were so hungry and unfulfilled that they ate their own children. Images of people, teenagers my own age, looking up from the asphalt and being blinded by the sun. These images stayed with me even after I left the city. Images so violent and malicious that they seemed to be my only point of reference for a long time afterwards. After I left." | |

the freestyle by Rig (is this Clark Baechle, or what?) is hard to understand for sure, but I have my aural interpretation: proto-topical combo won't be remembered tomorrow on a rival, recited Eifels/eye-fulls(?) insightful trifle, eyes closed exposed to idle chatter when night falls goodnight, ya'll hard not to ignore, already out the door with an irish goodbye now unintended to listen to attempts to mask glass intentions indicitave with the sunset's conviction at will on the decline uphill, headspill off a mental treadmill shatter the sequins from a standstill keep it real |
