I wondered why it seemed like goat didn't fit... gall is a better word but I definitely hear 'goat" in the first line, and way of the world could symbolize a life for a life, regardless of what shape that life takes. and I think it's "I feel the powerless" not I feed the powerless. |

I love this song but more than the meaning, one thing has always perplexed me, what does he say between "...plum been runnin'..." and "Trapped in a sap"?
sounds like "Try it!" or "Cry out!"

i know it's probably Miyamoto Musashi, but it sounds like his archrival, Sasaki Kojiro with it's intensity and the line "Death in life is your ideal", Sasaki was big on killing, he knew nothing else. but if all your skills were in the use of a sword...it's kinda hard to imagine anything else right? |

well i can translate some of the nursery rhymes here, i know its late, but here they are:
Ring around the rosies=someones funeral, this was related to the bubonic plague, because you carried posies to get rid of the smell in the air of rotting bodies
London bridge is falling down= the bridge actually collapsed, and kill some odd number of people, at least i think.
Mary had a little lamb, whose fleece was white as snow= this is about cocaine, powder white as snow
nick nack paddywack, give a dog a bone= no clue yet, but this old man came rolling home is from back in the lumberjack days, many people died because when at the bars, they would drink WAY too much, and the bartenders would just set up a ramp and roll them into the roads, they unconsious patron would sometimes wind up at other peoples houses, and some were buried alive, thought to be dead.

A) its "Nothing to lose, nothing to lose" not "Nothing to lose nothing truth"
B) now, its "Break out!" not "Make it up!"

i personally think the fact that in the very beginning, he says "HE'S a LOSER, SHE SAID!" i think it should be in the lyrics list :( but i love this song, especially when he says "So i grabbed my shovel!" and then, "Stupid."...by the way, my comment is 4 years late...sorry :( but i LOVE THIS SONG! makes me think of me lol. |

alright, here's my thoghts, am I the ONLY person on earth who can listen to and like more than just one kind of music?, yes, Static-X is probably my favorite band, BUT Linkin Park is good too, no, you should not put those two against each other, they are very different styles of music, Linkin Park is good, let's leave it at that, this song, is probably about some kind of trip, IMO. I can't really tell much more than that at this time, but im definately gunna go with some kind of Acid Trip, really, being that you can relate "Corrosive" to "Acid", maybe..."My eyes are explosive..." means hes having a really fucked up acid tripp and is "exploding" with rage at everyone and everything around him. thats what im thinking, and i dont really know what else to say besides that Static-X DOES infact rule over all other bands, LP should not be dissed on a comment board for Static-X. |

ok, listen, Night Terros is an actual medical condition, anyone can have it, but its most common in children from like 5 months to 12 or so years old, it induces insane halucinations increased heartrate/breathing rate, and fits of extreme fear. thats what the song seems about to me, maybe one of te members of Static-X has Night Terror Syndrome?, if you want to know more, look it up. |
