and yes, i think all the imagery of nature in the lyrics of this album, ie. in this song, are sort of a way of saying we just ened to get back to nature and just looking at nature and it's beauty makes us realise how easy it is to love the world and how simply beautiful our world is |

this song is so fucking beautiful
this whole album seems to be saying that love is simple, or atleast should be simple, but somewhere along the way we've managed to make it complicated, whether it be with technology, science, trhough the media, or whatever
in the end, we should just love everyone and keep it simple

i vote that this song should be renamed as 'the otherside of the liars', it's a contradiction to their usual heavier sound and it's just as good. a lot of good things have been said about this album- it seems to pop up everywhere, the yeah yeah yeahs, radiohead's website, mogwai's- i can understand why, it's brilliant |

i think Elbow deserve a lot more than to be simply compared to Coldplay, Coldplay would never sing a sing like this and Elbow are more exprerimental with their music. Don't get me wrong, Coldplay are well deserving of their fame but Elbow sound is quite different. I love the part in this song where it picks up and Guy just sings 'yeah', it truly conveys that feeling of exhileration when in love and i am- with elbow! |

i love the way her voice just cuts through the music, the second half reminds me a little of bjork actually and i love the line 'the sound of two hearts beating side by side, the sound of one love that niether one can hide' it's the best explanation for the feeling of love that i think has been used in a song for a long time |
