I really like this song. Though, it's the only song i've heard of theirs. They remind me alot of Fall Out Boy and Panic! but those are also great bands too, so I guess it works out.
As for meanings, I think this song goes along the lines what offwhitepinstipes said (nice name by the way) about wanting to be noticed by a certain someone.. but trying not to seem desprite and pretending to let it not get to you. and sad enough as it is... That's how I felt about my boyfriend now... except I finally got his attention. :) |

call me dumb, but this song kinda reminds me of a relationship that's not suppose to be happening. Like between two good friends, or a friend's ex-boyfriend or even to the extent of a student-teacher or whatever the case may be. In the first two verses, it's just talking about being together and keeping it a secret.. [we're doing fine.. we're doin nothing at all] [the words are hushed.. let's not get busted] and etc.. but that's kinda what i interpret this song as.. not sure how the last verse could tie into it.. but oh well... I've always loved this song and that's justa new way for me to view it due to personal expiriances. |

this is probably kinda lame, but i kinda interpret the song as you can't steal something good and expect it to be just as good... kinda know what i mean? a carousel to a child is like a really magical and amazing place where you can ride flying horses. someone may think "hey i'm gonna steal the ring from the flying horses so i can enjoy it all for myself now" but once he alone has it and only he alone can enjoy it, it's all rusty, because it's not what it used to be..
