What exactly is a flammer?? Like Flim Flammer? Or did you mean "Flamer" but you dropped out before that word was covered in elementary school? |

All I know is that this song, in combination with Funeral for a Friend, is the greatest opening medley for a concert of any that I have ever been to. If you are not pumped up for a great show after listening to these opening 2 songs, then hopefully someone at the show has your dental records, because you are dead. |

to the posters who said that this song was about the aids virus, keep in mind that this song was released in 1975, a full 5-10 years before the aids virus was exposed and at least that long before Freddy became exposed to it. |

Brian Jones, the guitarist from The Rolling Stones, played an oboe on this. A few years earlier, Lennon and McCartney gave The Stones a song called "I Wanna Be Your Man," which was one of their first hits, and helped convince Mick Jagger and Keith Richards that they should write their own songs(This is from Songfacts.com) |

I like this song because of the interchanging lead vocals between Paul and John. This makes my Top 10 list on the Beatles everytime. I love this tune. |

| Queen – The Show Must Go On Lyrics

IMHO, this is by far the best song Queen ever did. Every time I hear it, I think of two things: Freddys defiance against his illness and the depth of the lyrics he sings, and the fact that when this song was recorded, he weighed about 90 pounds. (Remember the video for "these are the days of our lives?") It is amazing that as sick as he was, he was able to conjure up enough power to deliver the absolutely HUGE vocals in this song. I nearly get choked up every time I hear it. Freddy and Queen are legends. And he is probably the best singer in the history of rock. Period. |

The first example of how smooth a singer Paul Carrack is. If this guy would only self promote more he would be one of the most popular singers in history instead of the anonymous voice behind so many hit songs by so many different groups. |

My wife had never heard of Paul Weller, but then I played her this song and now she likes him. I am a big Jam,TSC and Weller fan, so it pleases me that now I can play albums like setting sons and cafe bleu in the house now and see her get off on them too. |

Rolling Stone Brian Jones on the Sax, and legend has it that he had never played the instument until it was recorded for this song. He was probably the best all around musician ever, but he pissed it all away. How sad. |

| Henry Paul Band – Grey Ghost Lyrics

The Henry Paul Band means alot to me. I was a typical teen African American in the late 70s whos only records consisted of what was popular according to Jet Magazine and my Beatles collection. My freshman year in college, my roommate was a huge southern rock fan, and the first band he played was the HPB. This album impressed the hell out of me and opened my eyes to the fact that a song doesn't have to have a beat to and a disco ball to kick ass. I called this year the year of my musical awakening. Suddenly my Barry White and Sugarhill Gang had company in Marshall Tucker, The Allman Brothers, Skynryd, etc. Before you knew it, I was into jazz, hard rock, etc and now my music collection has over 2500 CDs/Albums of just about every genre. And it all started by listening to Grey Ghost by the Henry Paul Band. |

Just another example of how awesome a musician and waste of a talented human life Brian Jones was. He played on this record, and the horn that is so much a part of the beauty of this song is his. He also played the saxophone on the beatles song "you know my name". |

One of the best bass performances of all time. Entwistle was one of the most underrated players in the world, due to his more vocal bandmates, but man he is awesome on this tune. |
