In an interview about this song she said something like it pisses me off that some people think I'm bashing mentally challenged people with this song when it's really about me. Courtney wrote these lyrics. I do know that Hester Prynne is the girl the wore the scarlet letter. And Anne Boleyn was King Henry Vlll's wife or something and he had her beheaded. She wore a lot of chokers. The beginning is from Hole's song So High. You guys are all wrong. Courtney did write this. She's a better writer any ways so why would she steal some shit from her hubby. I also have know idea what nirvana182317 is saying. You want to think that Kurt wrote this song because every one who really likes Nirvana wants to be just like Kurt.
